TO TAMPA BAY.
Tom Bradley and his family are native Philadelphians who brought their love for authentic cheesesteaks to Tampa Bay in 1988. For more than 20 years, Tom dreamed of building a business that could serve the kind of cheesesteak his family knew from back home.
In August 2012, that dream became The Cheesesteak Truck. What started as a long-held idea grew into a Tampa Bay favorite built around authentic Philly flavor, fresh ingredients and a passion for making a great cheesesteak.

Just one year after launching, The Cheesesteak Truck was featured at the City of Tampa Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta in 2013. It was an early milestone in the journey from a family dream to a Tampa Bay favorite, serving authentic Philly flavor to the local community.

We had the burger and fries and the chicken Philly tacos. The burger was great and the fries were crispy. The tacos were just plain shredded chicken with absolutely no seasoning whatsoever on them. Very bland. They had tons of chicken on them but they really could season the chicken a little.

Really good Philly. Ask for extra cheese sauce. Expect a little slower service than an Applebees. There only one guy working the whole place. Bring your patience and kindness. I was told the cooks are from Philly! They definitely know what’s up!
